RIDGE HOUSE
Ridge house is balanced on a small ridge looking towards the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The house consists of layered zones that contain different functions -- owners private quarters, social/entertaining space, and guest quarters. The house is organized to reveal different views of the mountains as one moves through the spaces. Sometimes framing intimate views, sometimes opening to expansive panoramic views. The thickened wall masses are fireplaces and storage elements allowing the interior to feel open and uncluttered.
